Grape crusher-destemmer with motor, enameled hopper and casing, equipped with a feed auger for grape conveying, featuring paddles in the roller area to facilitate grape feeding towards the rollers. The new DMC-191 Italia version features an electrostatically painted steel hopper and auger, along with a food-grade stainless steel separator. New 2025 model entirely made of steel, including protective gear housings and stem outlet casing, with metal drive gear and metal pulley, robust, durable, and reliable.
Once the grapes are placed into the hopper, the auger feeds them toward the crushing rollers. The auger paddles push the grapes into the rollers, allowing them to perform the first operation: crushing. Beneath the hopper, the next operation takes place: separation of the crushed grapes and must from the stems, which are discharged on the side opposite the motor through the rotation of the paddle shaft. The crushed grapes together with the resulting must fall by gravity through the 22 mm holes of the stainless steel cylinder positioned under the hopper, directly into the tank or barrel supporting the machine.
