The Rover 20 transfer pump is a classic bi-directional pump with a star-shaped rotor geometry. It is self-priming; however, to ensure long-lasting and reliable operation over time, it is recommended to prime the pump before each use by filling the pump head with the liquid to be transferred.
It is suitable for transferring clean liquids in agriculture and oenology, including liquids containing a small percentage of solids (maximum 0.2–0.5%), provided that the hardness and particle size do not affect the internal surface of the pump body. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral. For efficient transfer, it is recommended to install a suction strainer, mesh filter, or fine screening device at the end of the suction hose to prevent sediments accumulated in the source container from passing into the destination container where the clean liquid is required.
The pump is supplied as standard and does not include hoses, which must be connected separately to its hose fittings. The stainless steel body and rotor ensure increased durability over time.
